Obituary for John Joseph "Johnny" Beckner Sr.
John Joseph "Johnny" Beckner, Sr., 71, of Middle River, passed away Monday August 5, 2019 at his home.
Born November 14, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Billie Joe Beckner and Concetta Detorie Burnham.
Mr. Beckner was a retired car salesman. He enjoyed cars, car shows, fishing and camping in Harper's Ferry, WV.
Surviving are sons, John Joseph Beckner, Jr. of Lancaster, PA and Justin Ennis of Dundalk, MD; daughters, Angela Beckner Martin of Middle River, MD, Concetta Beckner and Christina Beckner. both of Melbourne, FL; brother, Billy Joe Beckner, Jr. of DE; sisters, Concetta Beckner Lord of Marshfield, MA, Patricia Burnham Shelton of Concord, NC, Barbara Beckner Johnson of VA; four grandchildren, Toni-Ann Martin, Tony Martin, Jr., Angela Martin, Sophia Beckner and Elaina Beckner; great-grandson, Edward Martin, V; close aunt, Trudy Ford; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his grandson, Edward Martin, IV.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 8 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD. A funeral service will be held on 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 9 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Abraham's Cemetery.
