Life Story for Frederick William Daum IV

Frederick William Daum, IV, 48, of Westminster passed away in Atlantic City, NJ on May 21, 2019. He was born on July 9, 1970 in Towson, MD to Sandra K. (nee Roush) Daum and the late Frederick William Daum, III.

Mr. Daum had 25 years of service as a police officer with the Baltimore City Police Department. He was a United States Air Force veteran serving in the Persian Gulf. During his teenage years he was a volunteer firefighter with the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company. He was a Ravens and Orioles fan, loved golf and fishing with his friends but his greatest love was his cherished daughter, Holly. He shared his love for baseball with Holly and they enjoyed watching the Orioles together. Fred was so proud of his daughter, Holly, especially when she went on to earn a softball scholarship at the University of South Carolina Aiken.

He is survived by his mother Sandra K. Daum; daughter Holly M. Daum; sister Kristina K. Hare and niece Taylor M. Hare. Predeceased by his father Frederick William Daum, III.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Tuesday, 3-5 & 7-9pm. Service will be held on Wednesday, 11am at the funeral home. Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
