We have been neighbors of the Shaw family for the last 20 years. Ted was a very friendly and kind neighbor. He always had a kind greeting and time to have a short chat with the kids.

Since Ted had lived in the neighborhood since he was 9 years old, he shared some of the history of the neighborhood with us when we moved in. He shared that he was paid a nickel per nail extraction, when the original owners added the second floor to our house. He even knew when trees and flowers had been planted. Ted was a great man and he will be greatly missed.

Our sincere condolences go out to the entire Shaw family. May the loving memories each of you shared be a comfort to you now and in the days to come.
Peace and Blessings to each of you.

I remember with Ted he introduced himself as our neighbor. He said I am here if you need me and let me know. He was too. He helped us keep are grass cut when my husband was out of town. Got to watch our kids grow up . Best shovel person I know for the snow. We talk about life and kids and he listened. But we also joke around too. He was the sweetest man I know and always kind. Life stress he never showed it. He play with our dog who loved him and just seemed to be OK with the punches that life toss to you. We will really miss him. Prays for his family..

I couldn't have asked for a better father-in-law. It was my privilege to be you "night nurse" in your last couple months. :-) Such a joy to know you're free from pain. You will be forever in our hearts Ted.
